Safety and Health
In order to best protect your health, I’ve changed some things about the way I practice. Also, I am continuing to follow the most up to date recommendations for massage therapists by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy, as well as current guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Preparation
I will communicate with each client the day before an appointment to ask some screening questions, and you will be asked those same questions when you arrive for your appointment. Both client and therapist need to wear masks, and I will also be doing temperature checks in the waiting area. Please keep your mask on in the waiting area and observe social distancing (6 feet apart).
Between sessions
All surfaces both client and therapist come into contact with are thoroughly disinfected between sessions. Windows in the treatment room will be opened for optimal air exchange during the extended time period between sessions.
Other ways to connect and receive support
If physical contact doesn’t feel appropriate, and you would like to receive support with stress, and or trauma (past or present time) you may want to explore Somatic Repatterning sessions. These sessions can be done in the same room with social distancing, or via a Zoom video call.
